Franchise owners from across the UK recently came together with the Business Support Team for our annual Just Shutters Conference.
Across two inspiring days, the room was full of energy, positivity and laughter. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect, share experiences and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together. The 2025 conference was all about our people, strengthening relationships, learning from one another and looking ahead to the exciting year to come.
A Fresh Format and Fantastic Energy
Day One set the tone from the start. Neale Vanstone, our Non-Executive Director, opened the conference with a lively team-building exercise that set a positive tone for the day ahead. He then led a series of engaging and interactive sessions throughout the day that really got the room thinking and talking. It was a great balance of practical insights, open discussion and light-hearted moments that had everyone involved.
We were also delighted to be joined by our other Non-Executive Director, John Lewis, whose continued support means so much to everyone in the network.
The atmosphere was relaxed yet highly productive, with franchisees contributing feedback, insights and plenty of good humour, a true reflection of the energy and collaboration that make our network so special.

Highlights from Across the Network
Across both days, franchisees heard updates and insights from Chris Rocker, our Founder, whose passion and vision continue to inspire the entire network. Alongside Chris, the Business Support Team, the Marketing Team, Nick Sumbler, our Franchise Recruitment Manager, and our valued product partners shared updates, ideas, and future plans, creating a real sense of progress and purpose.
There were also informative sessions led by franchisees themselves, covering a range of topics from awnings to accessories, margins and added value, all focused on sharing practical knowledge and best practice. Chris also introduced Scion, our innovative new app designed to make design visits smoother, smarter and more efficient, an exciting step forward in the tools we provide to support our network.
We were delighted to welcome back Anthony Steers (The Telephone Assassin), whose closing session had everyone inspired and ready to take on the year ahead with fresh confidence and motivation.
Strength in Collaboration
What stood out most across the two days was the incredible sense of teamwork and shared purpose. From lively discussions to moments of reflection, every session reinforced the same message, that our greatest strength lies in working together.
It’s this collaborative spirit, built on trust, openness and support, that makes Just Shutters such a special place to belong. The 2025 Conference reminded us that while each business operates independently, we all move forward together — sharing knowledge, celebrating achievements and building for the future.
